General Maintenance

Casual – Immediate start

About the Role

We currently have an opportunity for a general maintenance person to join our team at Costello Hotels. Whist the role will begin as a casual position there will be an opportunity for the position to become Permanent Part Time in the future for the right candidate.

Reporting directly to the Manager the position encompasses general maintenance over 5 properties

• Wallaroo Marina Apartments – Wallaroo
• Arura Group Stays – Port Hughes
• Lighthouse – Port Hughes
• The Seagate – Moonta Bay
• Moonta Bay Cabins – Moonta Bay

Including but not limited to

• Carry out skilled general maintenance work involved in all aspects of onsite building maintenance, both internal and external 
• Carry out general garden maintenance work involved in all aspects of maintaining well cared for garden areas including lawn mowing

Skills & Experience required

We are seeking to employ a bright and energetic individual who has a strong work ethic.

The applicant we are seeking will have;

• Previous general maintenance experience as a necessary requirement
• High level of attention to detail
• Flexibility to be available at short notice if required
• Current drivers licence

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate during a 3 month trial period efficiency, diligence, flexibility and reliability.

Permanent Part Time – Reservations Team Member

About the Role

Costello Hotels is seeking to employ a bright and energetic individual who has a strong work ethic as a member of our reservations team.

Offering superior guest service at all times in a warm, friendly manner you will be an integral member of our Front Office team.

Reporting directly to the Manager the position requires applicants to be professional, well presented, honest, reliable and have a commitment to the highest standards of customer service.

The role will require;

• Ability to show initiative
• Outstanding phone skills
• Ability to work alone

Responsibilities include;

• Check-in/Check out guests
• Taking guest enquiries
• Reservations across our multiple properties 
• Administration
• Guest relations

Previous experience of front office/reception work is essential. Employment within the accommodation/hospitality industry would be advantageous as well as experience working with RMS software.

The position will be 38.5 hours per fortnight Permanent Part-Time on a 2 week rotating roster and will include weekend work.

About the Role

Costello Hotels is seeking to employ a bright and energetic individual who has a strong work ethic as a housekeeper for a Casual position.

Reporting directly to the Head of Housekeeping and the Manager the position encompasses cleaning and servicing of guest rooms within the Wallaroo Marina Apartments as well as the cleaning of our properties in Port Hughes and Moonta Bay when required. The position does require some degree of physical fitness.

At times you must have flexibility to be available at short notice.

Previous experience of cleaning is a necessary requirement and employment within the accommodation/hospitality industry would be advantageous.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate during a 3 month trial period efficiency, diligence, flexibility and reliabilty.

A current drivers licence and motor vehicle are essential.
